I am blogging from the FLENEF (Foreign Language Educators of North East Florida) Summer Conference. This will be my first attempt on blogging during the conference. Already the first hurdle is overcome. My wireless internet connection is not working. So, plan two, a (very short) Ethernet cable is connected to the wall behind me, but I am online. Of course there is a bug at blogger.com right now and the post –link does not work. I have also mobile blogged some pictures to Langwitches’ Mobile Blog, but the post have not showed up as of now. Maybe the problem is related to each other. Hopefully that will be up online shortly; otherwise I will have to blog in Word and then copy/paste.

So…. Lesson Number 1: Remember Murphy’s Law, especially in Technology. It is unavoidable. Something will not work, or stop working when you get ready for your presentation. Let’s see if most of the problems will dissolve themselves.

PS. The conference is over and the problems did not resolve themselves. I think it must have been a problem with the firewall of the conference center (part of the school districts network). As soon as I got home blogger seems to work fine. Too bad, since I was not able todirectly show my workshop attendees how fast and easy it is to blog.
So I “blogged” offline and will upload each workshop as a different post here.
