K12 Online Conference- Alan Levine “I Did Not Know You Could do THAT with Free Web Tools”
Alan Levine ” me cayó imediatamente simpático” as we say in Argentina. Immediately I felt he was a “cool” guy when he said during the first few seconds of his presentation:
I have hardly seen it all (on the web). If someone claims an expertise in this, they are surely lying. So, I am always learning on the web. That’s what I love about it. That’s my fascination with it. That there is so much to learn and so many other people that can fill in your own gaps.
I agree with him regarding the learning with its fascination. That’s what it should be for our students as well.
- So the first tool he talks about is YouTube. It is a video upload, download and sharing site. Alan gives a few examples of how educators could use a site like youtube by finding already created clips or upload their students reports, storytelling, field work, virtual penpals

How to use Flickr as a presentation tool. The fascinating part is that you are thinking you know a tool pretty well and suddenly you find out, that there is an entirely new function and aspect of it. Simply amazing! - Gliffy
