Langwitches Podcast 013 : Blog your Way to China
Our school, San Jose Episcopal Day School (www.sjeds.com) , is a small school (about 420 students) in Jacksonville, Florida with big plans to implement a global curriculum. It is our goal to broaden our students’ horizon and educate globally aware citizens. As part of a feasibility grant, the school is able to send two faculty members to travel abroad. We are planning to take our students “along” through technology.
Blog your way to China through Time and Space:
- Pre-Kindergarten - 2nd grade will follow “Jose”, a stuffed animal, along on his journey. They already have started getting to know Jose, while he his visiting each of their classrooms and participating in a typical school day.

- 5th and 6th graders will take part in a Game, modeled after the popular U.S. Reality Show “The Amazing Race”.
