I am sitting on one of the Apple Macbooks, waiting for a session entitled “Global Learning and Apple Learning Exchange” to start.
I regularly look at their website and have found many interesting projects, especially dealing with the global curriculum component.

What does Global awareness mean? How do we teach global awareness?
Asked how many of the attendants own a passport? How many of our students have a passports? Have you traveled on an educational trip with other educators?With Students? Who has dual citizenships? Speak multiple languages?

Classroom needs to model real resources from around the classroom.
Challenge: Kids are not engaged. How to create a learning environment.

• Benefit of the virtual fieldtrip.

Ambience sounds:

• Add the sounds to the photos you take.
• Embed into the podcast.
• Add dimensions to the “old fashion slides”.

Creative expressons from thoughtful travel: What can I do with sounds, photos and videos.
