Blogging at a Conference
Today is Day 2 of the FETC conference in Orlando.
I have my laptop open and running in each session that I am attending and am pretty much taking notes on what I am hearing. There is no time to actually add much of an opinion or much cross referencing, but I am planning on leaving that to a later date, when I had time to digest all the information.
Some of the session that I have attended and started to blog about, I decided to leave once I found out that the presenter is actually pushing a product or company. Sometimes the description of the workshop is so utterly misleading that I also decide to leave the room. So if you see a blog post about a presentation that is rather short, then you know that I “sneaked” out.
I am finding it extremely satisfying to be able to instantly access the links that presenters are mentioning. The wireless access throughout the conference center is what true access to information, ALL the time ANYWHERE is about. I can’t wait to the time when we will have this in every city, country, covering the entire world.
I am adding technorati tags of “FETC” and “FETC07″ to each of my posts.
