FETC 2007- The Magic of Foreign Language Learning Through Technology
Langwitches: The Magic of Foreign Language Learning Through Technology
presented by Silvia Tolisano
It will be like magic when your foreign language students’ attention and interest are sparked. Learn about different ways teachers can integrate and personalize technology to motivate students. Participants will receive a wealth of ideas on how to use digital images, video and audio to instruct, review and assess their students in the target language. Examples include podcasts, games, karaoke style music videos, and electronic storybooks.
Presentation Shownotes are here.

Although my session was scheduled on Friday (last day of the conference) at 3.10-4.05 (last session of the conference) about twenty very brave souls in addition to my loyal colleagues came to the session. There were not many concurrent sessions scheduled during that time. What did catch my eye though was that during this last session the only two presentations geared towards ESL and foreign languages of the entire conference were scheduled at the same time and in two adjacent rooms. Was that an oversight of the FETC organizers or on purpose? Several of the attendees were not very happy that they had to choose to only attend one or the other session.
