Getting Educational Video Clips to your Students.
You can find many great video clips that are of educational use online in sites such as youTube or Video Google. If your students are older, you could direct them these sites and let them watch the clips. BUT if you have younger students or are concerned with the implications of OTHER material that they might find at these sites, you have a few other choices. These video sharing sites usually offer the code that will allow you to embed the video into your own website or blog. Video Google (if allowed by the person who uploaded the video) offers the possibility to download the clip in a format compatible with the iPod or PSP.
Once you create a video on your own with Windows Movie Maker (for example) you can upload it to youTube.com or Video Google and then again stream it to your blog or website, making it accessible to your students. If you want to create an off line video clip library for yourself though or make it as easy as possibly for your students to get them into their devices, then you will need to find away to download these video clips and converting them into the right format.
