Having said that the service is great and you can end up doing some exciting stuff with the kids which was not possible earlier. Maybe the answer is to create a separate section for the kids on the website where adult content is not used? That said, I loved your last link to Make Believe Comix, and think that one is easier to use and more appropriate for children.
