I am planning on introducing a song by Ricardo Arjona tonight to my adult Spanish class. I imported the song into iTunes and then converted it  with the AIFF converted.
To do this (in iTunes) go to

Edit > Preferences
Advanced tab > Importing tab
Use drop down menu for “Import Using” and choose AIFF encoder
