Cybersafety while on the Road

While many of us will be on the road this summer traveling, this little tip might come in handy while using cyber-cafes to check on your e-mail or blog. Be aware of password logging malware installed on strange computers. While I am using my step-mom’s laptop while in Germany, I am always in cyber-cafes when in Argentina with my mother.

I found this tip from Lifehacker’s Blog , via  Anxiety at the Internet Cafe, through Net Family News:

Type a character or two of a password, then click elsewhere in the browser and type a random character or two before clicking back in the password field to type the next character, repeating this exercise until the entire password has been entered.
