Upgrading to WordPress 2.5
Might as well upgrade to the newest version 2.5 of WordPress, while I am at ironing out the kinks with the migration to my new hosting company.
Here are some first impressions:
Upgrade went smooth.
First BIG layout change since I started using WP over two years ago.
Nice clean and uncluttered layout.
Everything seems pretty intuitive. Buttons are obvious.
Absolutely love the toggle to full screen feature. Drove me insane to scroll up and down in the older version. Nice, big full screen to work with.

I really like the new layout of the presentation widgets. Shows you which ones you are using and which ones are still available.

Really excited about the new image features. Choose your file from your computer or enter a URL. Images will get placed into a “Media Gallery” that is searchable by name or shown by date (months uploaded).

You can click on “Show” and it will give you details about that particular image. You can change the file name

Once you upload images, they are also placed into a Gallery, which you can send as a group to your post. Have not figured out how to clear certain images in the Gallery or only choose a few images to be included in the gallery you want to insert into the post.
