Of course they will learn, but I think that if we can do some intensive practice that is fun it can get them started in a good direction. In the course of the keyboarding they can learn some Word Processing basics and we do it in short intensive times. In our K-5 school I can see that the 5th graders who have learned to keyboard (at home) are at an advantage. I think it is a waste of time to teach keyboarding to older kids.
