Tools to use

  • infinite cloner
  • lock into place
  • Ink layers
  • Screenshade
  • Import/insert  images from gallery or web
  • Picture transparency
  • Object transparency
  • Highlighter

Examples:

  • Lunch Menu Choices- student move their choices (Drag and drop)
  • Pledge to flag, so kids can see the words
  • Morning work
  • Using E-books from your curriculum books
  • Story-
    • Pre-reading actvity: Introducing vocabulary of that story
  • Weather Station
  • Games-
    • Addition Dice Game (use 2 dice from Gallery)
  • Science
    • Guess the Sounds
    • listen to sound, then remove click and reveal shape
  • Math
    • Calendar- All digital.
    • Math Meeting of the day- Shape patterns
    • 100 chart- Change colors by going to the pen tool first- that will change the color of square
    • Daily depository
      • Start with $1 on first day of school and add $ amounts each day and then add them

Action Research: Quality Writing on Blogs


In the month of March 2012, an International team of 4 elementary school classrooms are conducting Action Research about quality writing through blogging. You can support them by giving them an authentic global audience and modeling quality commenting on their posts.
