We had another phone call with the students in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and learned even more about them. There were 14 5th and 6th year students in the class we spoke to today. Mr. LaClair's 1st graders and Mrs. Cohen's 5th graders were interested to learn some of the similarities we share and differences that we have. Sometimes we had trouble making out what they were saying because of their neat Spanish accents. They also had trouble with what we were saying sometimes as well.
