As I am preparing for a SmartBoard workshop here in Argentina:
- I found the following tweet on my iPhone, them favorited it with Twitterfon

- Opened it up on my laptop to click myself through to the website of Danny Nicholson The WhiteBoard Blog
- That in turn let me to a new promising YouTube show of eduTacher Steve Bellow
His recent show “5 Tips and Tricks for the SmartBoard” is short, well done and reminds me a little of the “…in plain English” videos series.
His 5 Tips and Tricks are:
- You don’t need the SmartBoard to plan the lesson
- The Magic Pen: Writing (will disappear), Circle (Spotlight), Square (Zoom in)
- Use the content folder to save images you used most
- You can drag or print Word or PDF documents into the Notebook file
- To erase all, use the eraser tool and circle & tap in the center

I put his together a while ago, but my staff found it very useful, and refer back to it:

I’m always reading your blog and referring back to it for ideas, links and tutorials- but I rarely comment and show my appreciation! Now that the dust is starting to settle on the close of this school year, I look forward to relaxing a bit but also taking time to enjoy having time to explore new uses for and learning more about the SmartBoard and other areas of teaching and learning. So glad I can learn more about using the SmartBoard from my laptop (Tip #1 above) Just wish I could attend in Argentina!
Muchas gracias!
