In an effort to collect and archive SmartBoard tips and lesson ideas, here is a cross post from an older entry at the TechConnect Blog.

Pre-Kindergarten and first grade students have been studying President Washington and Lincoln.

Pre-Kindergarten watched two short video clips from Discovery Education about the two famous Americans in TechConnect and then found graphic representations of what they had learned.

It was fun for these 4 year-olds to choose from the Gallery, drag, drop, draw and re-size clipart on the Smartboard.

First Grade also learned about these two presidents and when reviewing their facts about them created a Venn Diagram. Each student came up to the SB and wrote their own fact. Once written, we resized and moved their entry to the right spot in the Venn Diagram to make all facts fit.
