The Edublog Awards

The Edublog Awards 2009 are open for nomination!

This is our chance to nominate and celebrate

the achievements of edubloggers, twitterers, podcasters, video makers, online communities, wiki hosts and other web based users of educational technology.

Here are the categories, I would like to nominate the following individuals:

You can nominate your own favorites. Simply follow the directions from

Step 1: Write a post on your blog linking to:

  1. The Edublog Awards Homepage
  2. The blogs & sites that you want to nominate (must be linked to!)

You can nominate for as many categories as you like, but only one nomination per category, and not yourself :) You can nominate a blog (or site) for more than one category)

Step 2: Email us the link to your nomination post

    I think you have made excellent choices. I’m familiar with several on your list and am looking forward to taking a peek at the new ones.

    Sylvia! thanks so much for the nomination!

    What I’m most tickled about is the category you chose. “Computer” teachers (and many “special” subject area teachers) aren’t often considered “regular” teachers and so the acknowledgment really means a lot to me.

    I have been a “resource” teacher for a long time too. I know exactly what you mean. The category I nominated you for was chosen with care. It shines through in your blog that you are an incredible TEACHER!
