Another great blog post! It's given me a great idea for maths and science learning - interviewing people in the workforce about how they use maths everyday and interviews with scientists about their jobs and how they came to choose a career in science. Keep up the great work!

Well done - I loved being a small part of this and you've written it up brilliantly - I hope it will serve as a great example to others.

I am impressed. This is an excellent example of using technology to make a project happen in a way not possible without it. I would call this technology powered learning! Plus the international / global connections are powerful. This type of learning activity wouldn't be possible without using 21st century skills, tools, and thinking. What an opportunity for your students!

Great job.

Wow,
Not only was this a great project, that I feel honoured to be part of, this post is an excellent synopsis of why we should be integrating technology into our teaching.
I've often seen 'tech' projects that did little more than take a 'paper' project and put it online. On the other hand, this project exemplifies both how and why technology can change what it means to be a global citizen, and a global learner. Your students learning experiences were fundamentaly different than book learning and I'd venture to guess that many, if not all of them, will look at learning opportunities using technology differently than those without a similar experience!
Mazel Tov!

Next time I see someone describe themselves on twitter as an EdTech expert or a 21st Century Education Guru, I am going to point them to this post so they can see a real example of "expert" or "guru'! Amazing.
