Shae,
The best place to start is by signing up for the Around the World with 80 Schools project.
You will have access to over 300 contacts to start skyping around the world with your students.

I would love to do Skyping with other schools. How do you make your contacts? I guess I am not sure where to begin. Any tips?

I have really enjoyed reading this post - and of course looking at our school up there on the wall of your school was amazing! I love the video. Our students are so excited about all they are learning using skype and email. We have managed to connect with schools in the USA, Canada, Australia Thailand, Hong Kong, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, Hawaii and India - our students are learning so much from other students around the world. Our teachers are learning a lot about the power of these tools too. Thank you.
